Ouray, Colorado May 1, 2017– Several local Jeep Companies and other Business Professionals have banded together to assemble the Six Basins Project, a 5013C organization created to protect and preserve the landscape and heritage of the six basins located within the Yankee Boy and Imogene areas. Through funds voluntarily collected with the rental of a Jeep or other OHV, additional grants and donations, projects will be completed that provide education through signage, improved sanitation in current restroom sites as well as the establishment of new restroom sites, and the potential funding of law enforcement on County Road 361.
Mission Statement: To preserve the natural beauty and historic character of the six basins in the Canyon Creek Drainage and the Jeep roads of southern Ouray County.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
